How to reach:
The starting point of the Triund trek is McLeodganj. There is a well define connectivity to road or rail or air to Dharamshala, which is easily accessible to McLeodganj.

- Carry a light backpack with some warm clothes irrespective of the season.
- A water bottle (3-5literes) and eatables items like cookies, chocolates, etc.
- It is good to rent a tent and sleeping bags rather than carrying along. Trekking gears are available at the base point of the trek.
- You will come across small tea stalls and cafes which offer food, maggie, tea & coffee, and refreshment items. Enjoy them.
- You can also go back from Triund to Galu Devi Temple and from there Mcleodganj to roam around the hill station and find some good food cafes.
